Irene Mae Boruch, 84, of Wausau passed away at her daughter, DeDe Richard’s home in Rib Mountain on Wednesday, January 6, 2010.
She was born June 16, 1925 in Wausau to the late William and Nelda (Krueger) Thiele. On October 27, 1945 Irene married Frank Boruch at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau where they were life long members. In her earlier years, she worked at Iozzo’s and Carmello’s in Rib Mountain.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Ken) Utecht of Neenah, DeDe (Brian Doerr) Richards of Rib Mountain, four grandchildren, Kurt Utecht Sr. and fiancé Andrea Gribble, Brenda (Mike) Camp, Ryan Richards and fiancé Holly Antijunti, Becky Richards and friend Zac Barrett, five great grandchildren, Kurt Jr., Samantha, and Thomas Utecht, Kelsey Camp, Baylee Richards, one brother, Arnold Thiele of Wausau and special friend, Blue. Irene was preceded in death by Frank and a granddaughter, Barbara Utecht.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 8, 2010, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Reverend Joel Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
