Irene Ninnemann

Irene Teresa Ninnemann, 76, died Monday, February 20, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Irene was born in Hamburg Township on September 9, 1940 to the late Norman and Rose (Kottke) Kuehn. While working for Connor's she met the love of her life, Robert Ninnemann. The couple was married at St. Stephen Lutheran Church on December 20, 1980 beginning 36 loving years together.

Irene was a good woman who was very helpful and caring to all those around her. She enjoyed time spent with her nieces and nephews and often found special gifts for them. Irene loved to laugh and her lovely smile would light up the room. At home, she enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds and time spent with her cats and dogs. Throughout their life together, Irene and Robert enjoyed driving around the area, often to visit their favorite restaurant the Korner Kitchen in Edgar.

Irene is survived by her beloved husband, Robert; siblings, Melvin Kuehn and Sandy Radunz; nieces and nephews, Lori (Kevin) Meier, Scott Radunz, Paulette (Jerry) Miller, Lisa Keehma, Neil Kuehn, Brian Kuehn, Craig Kuehn, Steven Kuehn and Kelly Kuehn; and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Willie and Barbara Kuehn and brother-in-law, Bob Radunz.

The funeral service for Irene will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 23, 2017 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 512 McClellan Street, Wausau. Pastor Jennifer Dahle will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park.
