James was born
August 7, 1931
in the town of
Berlin
to the late Roman and Frieda (Radenz) Krueger. He married Jean Wendt on
June 18, 1955
. James served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for Marathon Electric for over 40 years as a generator tester. After retiring from
Marathon
electric, James drove a school bus for Laidlaw for 10 years. He really enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Jean of Wausau, one son Steve (Veronica) Krueger of Wausau, one grandson Travis Krueger, two granddaughters Miranda and Clara Krueger, and two brothers; Wilmer (Audrey) Krueger and Ronald Krueger both of Merrill.
James was preceded in death by one son Allan.
Funeral services will be
11 a.m.

Faith
Lutheran
Church
on Hwy K, Merrill. The Reverend Kevin Hoogland will officiate. Burial will be in
Faith-Scott
Cemetery

until the time of services at the church.
