James Little

November 11, 1928 — February 1, 2011

James H. Little was born November 11, 1928, the son of the late Charles and Edna (Hansen) Little, in Aniwa.

He worked as a welder for Drott Manufacturing. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he proudly served the country during the Korean War. Jim was stationed in Japan and served in the Military Police.

Jim enjoyed bowling, hunting, and participating in baseball league.

At the age of 82, Jim died February 1, 2011, at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.

He is survived by his family, including his brother, John (Betty) Little, Indiana; sister, Vivian Thompson, Wausau; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Salvesen; and brothers, Tom, Robert, Clifford, William, and Kenneth Little.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, Wausau, with military honors. The Reverend Karen Ebert will officiate. Burial will follow at Aniwa Union Cemetery, in the spring. Family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 a.m., the day of the service, at church.
