James Nowak

James Nowak, 69, Wausau, passed away peacefully on April 18th 2013, at Mount View Nursing Home – Evergreen Terrace, after a long illness.
James was born to the late John and Mary Nowak on October 26th 1943 and was a graduate of Edgar High School. He loved fishing, taking long walks outdoors, and animals, especially small dogs.
He is survived by his brother, Roy Nowak, Wausau; sister, Florence Boerner, Wisconsin Rapids; niece, Mary Nowak, Fort Lauderdale, FL; five nephews, Christopher Nowak, Merrill, Gordon Boerner, Jay Boerner, Daniel Boerner, and Ronald Boerner; and sister-in-law, Charlene Nowak, Merrill.
Along with his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Nowak; nephew, Gregory Boerner; and brother-in-law, John Boerner.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at a graveside service at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 1st, at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Highway H, Edgar. Memorials may be sent to St. John's Catholic Church, Edgar.
