James R. Streeter, 46 of Schofield died Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau with his family at his side.
He was born November 13, 1967 in Wausau, son of Gerald and Judith (Swanson) Streeter. He received his education in the DC Everest Schools and later graduated from Wausau East High School in 1985. He was united in marriage to Marsha Kim Kutchenriter on March 27, 1994 in Dade County, Florida.
Jim was a truck driver most of his life which he thoroughly loved. He currently was driving for Crystal Finishing. Jim and Marsha made their home in the communities of Custer, SD, Dubois, WY, Grants, NM and currently have been making their home in Schofield, WI.
He loved being outdoors, driving his Harley, hunting, playing cards and spending time with his dogs especially his dog Chubbs. Jim was not afraid to "tell you the way it is"
He was a member of the Harley Owners Group and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Jim is survived by his wife Marsha of Schofield, one son James (Lisa Imhoff) Streeter of Kronwetter, WI, step sons, Justin (Meredith), Isaiah and Jesse, four grandchildren, Mackenzie, Vinca, Macy and Matthew. His parents, Gerald and Judith Streeter of Hazelhurst, WI, three sisters, Tracie (Charles) Rajek of Ringle, WI, Laurie (Joel) Lang of Colorado Springs, CO, and Kathie (Ace) Ermeling of Rib Mountain, WI and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 3PM to 6PM at the Helke Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the Wisconsin Chapter of Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
