Janet Erdman

Janet E. Erdman, 77, Wausau, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Cedar Creek Manor in Kroenwetter.
Janet was born December 17, 1938, in Wausau, WI, daughter of the late Herbert and Alice (Ringulet) Flatter. She received her education in Wausau where she graduated from Wausau Senior High School. On October 10, 1964, she was united in marriage to Richard Erdman at Grace United Church of Christ. They made their home all their married life in Wausau where she was employed at Employer's Mutual until her retirement.
Janet enjoyed spending time with her family and they enjoyed traveling and family camping trips. She also enjoyed going to craft fairs and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Janet is survived by her loving husband Richard, two children, Jill (Dr. Bradley) Maxfield, Madison, WI and Paul (Jennifer) Erdman, Evergreen, CO and seven grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas, Megan, Ethan, Alex, Riley and Sophie.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce Street. Rev. Philip Schneider will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
