Janice Isberner

Janice A. Isberner, 86, of Wausau, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau.
Janice was born June 8, 1929, in Edgar, WI, daughter of the late Edwin and Marie (Loskot) Werner. She received her education in Edgar where she graduated from high school.
On September 11, 1954 she was united in marriage to Herman Isberner at the St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Edgar. Janice and Herman made their home in the Wausau area where she was employed as a automobile underwriter for Employers Mutual Insurance Company (now Nationwide Insurance Company) during her time at Employers Mutual she taught underwriting classes for the company and traveled to other offices as they expanded to teach. Following her retirement they remained in Wausau.
Janice enjoyed hunting, fishing, crocheting, knitting, gardening and tending to her flowers.
She was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Wausau.
Janice is survived by her husband Herman, one son David (Cheryl) Isberner of White Bear Lake, MN, two granddaughters, Taylor Marie Isberner and Julia Lynn Isberner and a twin sister Joyce Hein of Wausau.
She was preceded in death by a brother Orville.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 512 McClellan St, Wausau with Pastor Jen Dahle officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Helke Funeral Home, 302 S. Spruce St. and from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the church on Wednesday. Entombment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
