Jason was born July 2nd 1978, son of Jerrold and Marliss (Rux) Fritz, in Wausau. After graduating from Wausau West High School, in 1996, he worked for Golden Guernsey Dairy, in Wausau. After living in Madison for several years, Jason returned to the Wausau area. He had been working as a crane operator at Merrill Iron and Steel for the past two years.
Nothing was more relaxing for Jason than spending the weekend fishing with his fiancée, Judy, in the Minocqua area. He enjoyed gardening, especially growing peppers, which he would share with his dad. The hotter the better! He loved to cook and grill; and play cards and cribbage. His smile was contagious and he loved to laugh and was a practical joker. Jason's family was important to him and they will cherish the memories made together over the years.
