Jean Rhyner

Jean Rhyner, 87, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 23, 2024.

She was born to Harold and Anna (Oilshlager) Dailey on June 29, 1937, in Port Edwards, WI. Jean was grounded in her Christian faith at an early age and that carried throughout her entire life.

She married Raymond Rhyner on October 13, 1956, and together they raised two sons, James and John. Jean worked at Stueber Dairy and then was a bookkeeper at Grebe's for over 40 years.

Jean is survived by her son John (Kim) Rhyner; her brother Gordon (Lois) Dailey; 4 grandchildren, Jason Rhyner, Becki (Josh) Blaubach, Melissa (Dan) Linden, Matthew (Ashley) Rhyner; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, son James, as well as her parents and twin brothers.

The family would like to thank the staff at Aspirus Palliative Care and the staff and volunteers at Aspirus Hospice House for the kindness and care shown to Jean over the last two months.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 600 Stevens Drive, Wausau. Rev. Eric Hauan will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of service at the church. Following services, Jean will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park.
