Jean A. Rusch, 73, of Merrill died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at her home under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Service.
She was born February 15, 1935 in Merrill to the late Emil and Hilda (Goetsch) Woller. On April 29, 1972, Jean married Franklin Rusch at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wausau. They had lived in New London where Jean had been a nursing assistant for St. Joseph Residence. Jean will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the wonderful times they had "Up North" at the trailer. Jean was also known for her talent in making crafts. She had a special way with animals and enjoyed her two cats, Coco and Peachy.
Survivors include her husband, Franklin of Merrill, two daughters, Debra (Ronald) Fencl of Two Rivers, Susan (Donald) Baker of Merrill, two step-daughters, Connie (Wallace) Laffin of Wausau and Cindy (Jerry) Baker of Wausau, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Juanita Schepp of Wausau and Floretta Schwartz of Green Bay. She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Karlen.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2008 at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Reverend Stephen Russell will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
