Jean Berry Taylor, 88, of Wausau and formerly of Memphis, peacefully passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Mt. View Care Center, Wausau with her husband, Charles at her side.
Jean was born November 17, 1926 in Hobokin, NJ to the late Wesley and Kathryn (Buckley) Berry. Jean married Charles Taylor, who survives, on August 25, 1950 in Memphis. She worked as a telephone operator, bank teller and sold Avon.
Jean liked to golf, garden, go walking and take care of her home. She enjoyed being a mother to her daughter, Susan Taylor of New Mexico and grandmother to Madison, Zoe, Max and Baily, who survive. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Audrey.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., in the Community Room at the Village Cooperative, 1508 Merrill Ave., Wausau. Pastor Ken Moberg of Highland Community Church will officiate. You may sign our family guest book at helke.com.
