It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joel James Koshalek, who left us unexpectedly on December 2, 2024, at the age of 53. Born on May 5, 1971, in Wausau, Wisconsin, Joel spent his life surrounded by the warmth of family and friends in Mosinee, Wisconsin.
Joel spent the last twenty years as an assembler at Greenheck Fan. He took pride in his work, but outside of his job, his true joys were found on the open road, cruising on his motorcycle, especially during those beautiful fall rides that painted the scenery in vibrant colors. A devoted Green Bay Packers fan, he never missed a chance to cheer on his team, embodying the spirit of Wisconsin with every game.
He is survived by his loving parents, Robert and Susan Koshalek; his brothers, Bob (Kay) and Mike (Jan); and his cherished nephews, Luke, Zach, and Kyle. He was also a proud uncle to his niece Rochelle (Jake) McNallan and his great-niece Raylynn McNallan, whose lives he touched with laughter and love.
Joe will be missed dearly by all who knew him but will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life.
A private family service will be held.
Rest in peace, Joel. Your ride has just begun, and we will carry your memory in our hearts forever
