Joyce Kloth

Joyce R. Kloth, 87 of Weston, died Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Hospice House in Wausau with her family at her side.

She was born March 4, 1927 in the town of Houghton, daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Heinz) Kloth. Joyce received her education in the town of Houghton. She worked as a housekeeper for area Wausau families and was a hostess for the Gaslite Super Club. In later years she was a senior aid at North Central Health Care.

She was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church where she served on the church council for many years. In her free time she enjoyed cooking and reading mystery novels.

Joyce was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Kloth and Lester Kloth and a sister Evelyn Denzin.

She is survived by a sister Barbara Umnus of Wausau and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home with burial to be held at a later date at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Wausau.
