Joyce Wiederhoeft, 80, of Wausau passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Aspirus Hospice House.
She was born May 27, 1937 in Ringle to the late Frank and Pauline (Steinbach) Bauer. On July 25, 1959, Joyce married Walter “Junior” Wiederhoeft at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Joyce worked as a Dental Assistant until her retirement. In her younger years, she enjoyed flower gardening and antiquing. Joyce and Walt loved spending as much time as they could at their trailer in Lake Tomahawk visiting with friends and relaxing around the campfire.
Survivors include two daughters, Lonnie (William) Wiederhoeft of Eau Claire and her children, Tara (Jared), Justin (Natalie) and Nathan (Maegan), Deborah Wiederhoeft of Schofield and her children, Haley and Paige, six great grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Beverly (Roger) Goetsch of Wausau. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Walt, three sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 501 Stewart Ave., Wausau. Reverend Zach Holdorf will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
