Judy Klug, 72, of Kronenwetter passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
In 1942, she was born on a snowy day in Wausau to Erna (Artus) Kluetz of Wausau and the late Raymond Kluetz. Judy was a graduate of Wausau Senior High School. On May 14, 1966, she married Ken Klug at St. John's Lutheran Church, town of Maine exactly 28 years to the day that her parents were married. Judy had worked for 19 years at Brokaw Credit Union, retiring in 2005. She was an active member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church volunteering as a money counter and food pantry worker. She enjoyed flower gardening and taking care of her home and family.
Survivors include her husband, Ken of Kronenwetter, mother, Erna Kluetz of Wausau, two daughters, Lisa (Greg) Nowicki of Athens, Sara (Mike) Agamaite of Oconomowoc, three grandchildren, Anna Nowicki, Collin and Carson Bjerke, sister, Mary (Pat) Plunkett of Wausau, brother, Michael Kluetz of Merrill and two aunts, Mary Stone of Wausau and Mildred Kirkpatrick of Rockford, Ill and nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Raymond and son-in-law, Steven Bjerke.
Funeral services will be Noon, Monday, October 27, 2014 in the chapel at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 6205 Alderson St., Schofield. Reverend Ray Connor will officiate. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday in the chapel from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Helke Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
We would like to extend a special thank you for the years of care and kindness that Dr. Hamied Rezazadeh and the staff at UW Cancer Center gave Judy and our family.
