Karen Borth, 60, of Wausau died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau.
Karen was born on October 22, 1947 in Wausau to the late Eugene and Shirley (Swope) Borth. She is a 1966 graduate of D.C. Everest High School. Karen most recently worked for Eastbay as a Customer Service Representative and Team Lead.
In her free time Karen enjoyed listening to country music, especially Marty Robbins and Ronnie Robbins and was a member of both fan clubs. She was also a member of the Grand Olde Oprey fan club. Karen dearly loved her nieces and nephews and loved to spend time with them. She was very happy when she had the opportunity to live with her brother, Walter, and his children, October and Zachary.
Karen is survived by her brothers, Walter Borth, William (Dawn) Borth, and Eugene Borth all of Wausau. She is also survived by her nephews, "Sonny", John, Jeff, and Zachary; and her nieces, Lynn, Julie, and October. Karen was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Reverend David Faulkner will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
