Keith Radant

Keith A. Radant, age 49 of Jefferson formerly of Wausau, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 at his home in Jefferson, Wisconsin.  He was born on July 24, 1960 in Wausau, son of the late Raymond and Madeline (Schmieden) Radant.


Keith has been a member of the St. Coletta family since 2001.  He enjoyed watching T.V. and movies. Keith had an incredible memory for special dates and family birthdays; he memorized the T.V. Guide and People magazine. Keith accepted his limitations and enjoyed life to its fullest.  He loved to spend time with family and friends, and looked forward to any opportunity for an outing.


He will be deeply missed by one sister, Lori (John) Vihnanek of Rockton IL; two brothers, Wayne Radant of Brookfield, Douglas (Barbara) Radant of Collierville TN; nephews, Matthew, Mark, Josiah Radant and Vincent Guzzetta; niece, Andrea Guzzetta; and his many special friends at St. Coletta and St. John's.


He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Stewart Radant; and sister-in-law Donna Radant.


Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Monday August 3, at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home 900 West Racine St. in Jefferson with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m.


A second visitation will be held on Tuesday August 4, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 302 Spruce St. in Wausau.


Private family entombment will be at Restlawn Cemetery in Wausau.


The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses and Staff at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital, the Jefferson EMS, Jefferson Rainbow Hospice, and all the many Staff and Caregivers at St. Coletta/Alverno, and St. John's for the wonderful care and love they have given to Keith over his last years.
