When you think of Lance Tesch, you think of that smile. His warm personality and grin always made you feel welcomed. Whether it was through his work at LB Trucking or his active community involvement, the number of friends Lance had can't be counted. He was always available to help someone in need.
He was born April 10, 1957 in Wausau to Marlene Berna of Weston and the late Arnold Tesch. Out of high school, Lance began his career as a truck driver for LB Trucking. He worked his way up to Vice President of Sales. He had a large network of friends and business acquaintances not only through LB but as past president of the Wausau Jaycees, Green Dolphins and Wausau Westside Business Association. Lance was also a past Chamber Ambassador and Al-Anon leader.
He has four beautiful daughters, Melany, Tracy, Abby and Sheena that he loved, worried about and cared for. When they were younger, he instilled his competitive spirit and supported them in their schooling and swimming. His past times included painting, photography and shooting pool. In his younger years Lance always looked forward to spending weekends at their trailer at Camper's Haven on Lake Nakomis.
At the age of 57, Lance passed away at his home on Thursday, June 12, 2014 with his fiancé, Laurie Hoff by his side.
