Larry Bunton, of Wausau, died Thursday February 25, 2010 at home.
Larry was born in Mendota, Ill. to the late Ivan and Clarice (Claunch) Bunton.
Larry graduated from Northern Illinois University. He taught high school and junior college business classes while taking graduate courses. Larry later became the sales and marketing manager at Marathon Electric. Larry most recently was a real estate broker at Coldwell Banker Action Realty and currently owned The Real Estate School, Schofield.
Survivors include three daughters; Kate (Brad Story) Bunton of Tucson, Ariz., Sarah and Susan (Tom) Holster of Wausau, his former wife Marlene Lau of Wausau, one grandchild; Annika Gordon, one sister; Linda (Jim) Schadt of Columbia, Mo., his companion and best friend Yvonne Prey of Wausau, Yvonne's children; Jim (Jenni) Prey of Wausau, and Jacqui (Nick) Mellon of Madison, and grandchildren; Carter and Mason Prey and Larry's dog Kelsey.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Sunday February 28, 2010 at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. The Reverend Scott Mann will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
