Lenore Plisch

Lenore Frances (Hoeft) Plisch, 82, of Albany, GA died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany, GA.

She was native of Rothschild, WI and had resided in Albany, GA for the past five years. She was united in marriage to Merlin L. Plisch on September 15, 1951. She followed Merlin during his 21 year career in the United States Air Force. They had three children; Christine L., Kathleen K. and Mark A. Upon Merlin's retirement they settled back in Wausau, WI, where Merlin worked for Wausau Homes, Inc. and she worked for Rib Mountain Ski Hill and then North Central Health Care Center. She retired as dietary aid from North Central Health Care Center. She was a long time member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, Wausau, WI.

A graveside memorial service will be held April 20th, 11:00 a.m., at Friedenshain Cemetery, County Road A, Wausau, WI, with Rev. Philip C. Schneider officiating.
In lieu of flowers, family asks that memorials be made to a charity of your choice.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin L. Plisch; and parents, Walter and Frances (Pflieger) Hoeft.

Survivors include daughters, Christine L. (John) Duelge, of Venice, FL , and Kathleen K. (Scott) Berner, of Palatine, IL; son, Mark A. Plisch, of Grinnell, IA; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.
