Lester Chaignot, Jr

Lester "Tuffy" Chaignot Jr. was a man who could fix just about anything. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could tackle almost any project. Tuffy enjoyed deer hunting and fishing with his boys.
Tuffy was born January 28, 1943 in Wausau to the late Lester and Esther (Zweck) Chaignot Sr. On December 28, 1974, he married Kathy Resch at the Church of St. Anne. Tuffy had worked at Marathon Battery and then as a welder and foreman at Purpose Extruded Aluminum Co.
At the age of 67, Tuffy passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy of Wausau, four sons, Ken of Wausau, Dan and Jeff in Arizona, Todd (Liz) of Wausau, one daughter, Christy (Kevin) Bruesewitz of Wausau, eleven grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Jennica, Taylor, Shaina, Kirsten, Zachary, Isaiah, Caleb, Zach, and Nathan, one great granddaughter, Serenity, one brother, Chuck of Wausau, four sisters, Betty (Jim) Belgram of Merrill, Sandra (Mike) Mallum-Zimmerman of Schofield, Rose Kuhnke of Irma, Judith Hirsch of Athens and his best friend Jerry Mallum of Wausau. Tuffy was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Paul.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Lighthouse Pentacostal Church, Wausau. Reverend D.J. Hilderbrand will officiate. Entombment will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
