Linda Kraus

Linda Kraus, 51, of Wausau passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2008 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Service at Aspirus Wausau Hospital .

She was born July 16, 1957 in Wausau to the late Louis and Ella (Johnson) Miller. She was a graduate of Wausau East High School and later became a Certified Nursing Assistant working for the Visiting Nurses Association. On November 11, 1982 , Linda married Tony Kraus in Wausau . Linda and Tony enjoyed spending time at Amco Park , as well as camping, fishing, and canoeing on North Trout Lake . She also liked outings to the casinos and sharing her good luck with her sister, Barb.

Survivors include her husband, Tony of Wausau, one son, Chad (Angela) Miller of Liberal, KS, 2 grandchildren, Nicole and Kayla, seven sisters, Shirley (David) Derby of Wausau, Jean (Larry) Seidler of Schofield, Barb (John) Viergutz of Mosinee, Gloria (Ken) Hammock of Soldotna, Alaska, Lori (Rudy) Suchy of Phillips, Judy (Pete) Paulus of Phillips, and Rose (Darryl) Schuh of Kingsford, Mi., two sister-in-laws, Mary (Floyd) Huff of Madison, Teresa (Joe) Harrold of Wasuau, brother-in-law, Bill (Cathy) Kraus of Wausau and many nieces, nephews and relatives.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Wausau. Father Gerald Pehler will officiate. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Helke Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
