Lois Erdmann

Lois Mae Christian was born October 11, 1931 in Wausau to the late Warner and Lillian (Westphal) Christian.  She is a 1949 graduate of Wausau High School.  Lois married DuWayne “Feeny” Erdmann on July 18, 1953 at Salem Lutheran Church, Wausau.  The couple was blessed with three children: Daryl, Daniel and Terri.  She was a wonderful mother, an excellent cook, baker and seamstress.  Over the years, Lois worked in fabric stores and JC Penny’s while raising her children and bowling in couple’s leagues with Feeny.  The family loved spending time together at their cottage in Tomahawk where Lois especially enjoyed watching the loons.  In her free time, Lois enjoyed having fun playing games and going for walks.  After 56 loving years together, Feeny died on December 5, 2009.  Lois died on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Lois is survived by her sons, Daryl (Marcia Imse) Erdmann and Daniel Erdmann; grandson, Daniel Erdmann Jr; brother, Dennis (Martha) Christian; and nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.  She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Terri Erdmann; and siblings, Wayne, Warner, Betty and Joan.

Memorial services for Lois will be at 11:00 AM in Friday, November 2, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church, Wausau.  Rev. David Wetmore will officiate.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church on Friday.  Inurnment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery.  Helke Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements; you may sign our family guestbook at helke.com.
