Lois C. Sickler, 83, of Mosinee, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Meadow Haven in Mosinee.
Lois Carrol Sickler was born January 22, 1932. She grew up on the family farm in Ringle, WI with Gladys Sickler, Carl Sickler, and Gene Volk. Lois enjoyed polka music, her many pets, and talking about her family.
She is survived by many family members: John M. Volk (Nancy), Robert Volk (Tabitha), Jeffrey Volk (Cathy); James Volk (Julie) Lisa Coffee (Jim), Lori Mattern (Lee), Christopher Volk (Michelle); Jan Volk (Nancy), Shawn Volk (Deb); Faye Volk (James Tuszka), Luke Tuszka; Donna Volk (Donald Tucker), Adam Tucker, Ben Tucker; Carl Krause (Krystal); Kris Shurson (John ), Heidi Bowman (Courtney), Eric Shurson; Shannon Huettner (Paul); Heather Hoyord (Charlie); Kelley Swartz (Eric Strike) Savannah Swartz, Abby Swartz, Finnley Swartz; Sarah Wolfe (Jon); Matt Helgeson (Beth); Andy Helgeson; Katie Brya (Trevor) and her caretaker Annette Siemers.
She was preceded in death by: Emma Kurth "Ma" & Yates Sickler "Pa"; Carl Sickler; Gladys Sickler; Alice Sickler & John Volk; Bernice Sickler & Ben Krause; Gene Volk; Beth Meagher; Sue Krause; Tommy Krause.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St, Wausau with Rev. Glenn Seefeldt of Grace Lutheran Church in Ringle officiating. Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in the Forestville, Cemetery, Town of Easton.
