LouAnn Heller, 78, of Tomahawk passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Golden Age, Tomahawk.
She was born January 15, 1937 in Rib Falls to the late Raymond and Leona (Paul) Leitermann. She grew up in Wausau and was a 1954 graduate of Wausau Senior High School. On November 19th of that year, LouAnn married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Heller at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. They moved to Louisiana while Ron served in the military. After moving back to Wausau, LouAnn worked in customer service at Crestline/SNE Windows for over 30 years. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping, gardening and spending time with the family at their cottage on Somo Lake. She loved being a grandma and hosting those special family gatherings.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald of Tomahawk, two daughters, Renee (Keith) Litzer of Wausau, Brenda (David) Frome of Tomahawk, two granddaughters, Rachel and Shannen Litzer, brother, Jim Leitermann of Schofield and sister, Sandy Nash of East Lansing, MI.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2015 at Grace United Church of Christ, 535 S. 3rd Ave., Wausau. Pastor Julie Goranson will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. You may sign our family guest book at helke.com.
