Lucille Estelle Baumann, 82, Wausau, died Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Lucille was born January 5, 1927 in Wausau to the late George and Estelle (Reuter) Reinicke. She grew up in Wausau and graduated from Wausau High School. On January 25, 1947, she was united in marriage to Robert Baumann in Cresco, IA. Throughout these years, Lucille occasionally worked part time as a secretary at various businesses around Wausau through it all she was a devoted wife and homemaker. Lucille and Robert celebrated 47 wonderful years together prior to Robert’s death March 10, 1994.
Throughout her life, Lucille was a bit reclusive but thoroughly loved and cared for her family. Ever since she was a little girl and on through adult hood, Lucille was very close to her father. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, playing cards and bingo. Lucille also had a great love of animals and a generous friend of the Humane Society.
Lucille is survived by her brother, George (Harriet) Reinicke; loving nephews, William (Evelyn) Keaough and Michael (Marcia) Reinicke; and many more loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother, Earl Reinicke and sister, Carol Keaough.
There will be a private family service. Helke Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
