Lucille Dawn Bedish reunited with her husband, Maynard, on Sunday, March 17, 2024. She was born to the late Herbert and Elsie (nee: Beck) Seymour in Wausau. Lucille married her dancing partner, Maynard, on August 27, 1949. She was devoted to her family; helping Maynard on the family farm, always wanting to be with her grandchildren, taking them to and watching them at their sporting events, and baking cookies for the grandchildren. Lucille was a caring person, she was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Colonial Manor and Mount View. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, crocheting, cross stitch, sewing, watching old western shows and the Milwaukee Brewers. She enjoyed going to polka dances and deer hunting with Maynard.
Lucille is survived by her children; Sharon Prieve and Dennis (Sue) Bedish; grandchildren Sarah(Mike Peterson) Bedish, Michael (Deanna) Bedish, and Abby Bedish; great-grandchildren Emma(Jordan Carrillo) Fleming, Lindsay Fleming, Eli D'Acquisto, Rowynn Bedish; great-great-grandchild Davina Carrillo; sisters Darlene Fust, JoAnn Schulz, and Shirley Madden; and a sister-in-law, Rita Seymour. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Melissa Fleming; grandsons Andy Prieve and Joseph Bedish; son-in-law Ken Preive, and brothers Donald Seymour, Norman Seymour, Harold Seymour, and Jr. Seymour; sister-in-law, Ruth Seymour; brothers-in-law, Roger Fust, DuWayne Schulz, and Earl Madden.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 25 at ST STEPHEN LUTHERAN CHURCH, 512 McClellan At., from 9-10:45 am. Lucille's funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lucille's name maybe made to St. Jude and the church.
Lucille's family would like to thank Aspirus Hospice for all their wonderful care and compassion shown at this time.
