John was a beloved, devoted son, friend and uncle. His dedication to family was demonstrated throughout his life. He will be missed by all who knew him.
John loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and enjoyed many road trips with friends all over the country. He was also an avid gun enthusiast and an active member in the Single Action Shooting Society and took pleasure in the competition of the cowboy matches they sponsored.
He had a true entrepreneurial spirit, beginning with work at his parents business, Westhill Giflts in the 1960’s, to opening up his own card shop, to starting his meat cutting business at his home.
Lynn “John” Doser, Wausau, passed away July 13, 2010, at Mt. View Care Center, after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was 69.
He will be sadly missed by his family, including his sister, Lynda Engeseth, Reno, NV; and 3 nieces, Amy Altenburgh and Dawn Prudhomme, both of Mosinee, and Rachel Miles, Las Vegas, NV.
A memorial celebration of John’s life will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, August 1st, at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. The family will welcome friends for a time of fellowship, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the service, at the funeral home, Sunday.
