Margaret "Peggy" Bisgrove, 84, of Wausau, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Garden Side Crossing in North Central Health Care Center.
Peggy was born September 22, 1932, in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Maurice and Nora (Cronin) Barry. She received her education in Chicago where she graduated from Visitation High School. In 1953 she married Les Bisgrove and they made their home in Chicago until moving to Wausau in 1956, they later divorced.
Peggy worked at Citizens Bank for a time and for 29 years worked in the Customer Service area at 29 Super Market until her retirement.
In her free time she enjoyed spending many hours working in her yard and garden, boating on Lake Wausau and Rib River. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren attending their school and sporting events.
Peggy is survived by three sons, Les (Mary Ann) Bisgrove of Mosinee, Ken (Christine) Bisgrove and Brian (Beth) Bisgrove both of Wausau; eight grandchildren, Jen Bisgrove, Jessie (Andy) Mahn, Sammi Bisgrove, Nic Bisgrove, Cassie Bisgrove, Allison Bisgrove, Amanda Bisgrove and Brad Bisgrove, one great grandson, Jack Bisgrove, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; John, Tom and Joe; one sister Marie Barry and a special friend Lee Sann.
