Margaret E. Liebers

Margaret E. Liebers, age 82, of Wausau passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Hospice House

Margie was born on March 10, 1943 in Wausau to the late Fred and Laura Liebers. They preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, Raymond Liebers.

A graduate of Wausau East High School, Margie went on to work in various roles, including housekeeping, as a sales representative at Sears and a painter at Connor Forestry. However, it was her true calling in nursing that defined much of her life. She served as a county nurse for over 15 years, touching the lives of many before retiring.

Margie found great joy in country living, where she cultivated her love for gardening-especially tending to her flowers, apple trees, and cherished cats. She was also an avid dancer, particularly enjoying ballroom and polka, and had a passion for cooking and sharing meals with family and friends.

A longtime member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Margie dedicated much of her time to the altar guild and was known for preparing countless meals for the congregation.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Calvary Lutheran Church, N365 Cain Creek Rd, Merrill, WI. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday
