Margaret "Peggy" J. Schwamman

Margaret J. Schwamman, age 79, of Wausau, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Pride TLC in Weston.

Margaret was born on August 19, 1944, in Wausau, to the late Robert and Mable (Hussong) McDaniel. She met Roger Schwamman in the summer of 1964, and they were united in marriage on December 10, 1966. Together, they had four wonderful children, four loving grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Margaret adored her family and cherished spending time with them. Known for her warmth and hospitality, she always ensured everyone felt welcome and had enough to eat. Margaret was also known for being an excellent seamstress and quilter and always enjoyed getting together with her quilting group.

She is survived by her children Brenda (Eric) Van Den Heuvel, Cindy, Roger (Christina), and Jason (Michelle) Schwamman; grandchildren Angelica Nichols, Derek, Kaitlyn, and Jacob; great-granddaughter Eden Nichols; and sisters Barbara (Ralph) Guenther and Lois E. Wolfe. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

The Schwamman family extends their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Pride TLC and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice for their exceptional compassion and care.
