MarJorie Langsdorf

MarJorie E. Langsdorf, 80, of Wausau, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Marywood Center under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice. She was born to the late Arthur and Dora (Kaatz) Zarnke in Wausau on February 14, 1931. MarJorie lived in Wausau all of her life and attended Trinity Lutheran School. She met her future husband, Frederick, while working at the Wausau Gas Company. They were later married on May 23, 1953. MarJorie worked as office manager there until her retirement in 1965.
MarJorie was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church and was also a member of the altar guild. She enjoyed card club and getting together with friends. She liked flowers and cats, especially her cat, Gracie.
MarJorie is survived by her husband, Frederick; and two cousins, Geraldine Weber and Sally Wagner. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Martin and Glenwood.
A funeral service will take place at 10:00 am on Friday, August 26, 2011 at Christ Lutheran Church, 1300 Townline Road, Wausau, with Rev. David Wetmore officiating. Friends and family may call beginning at 9:00 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
