Marshall Falk

December 13, 1915 — February 14, 2016

Marshall Hugo Falk Sr., 100, of Wausau, died February 14, 2016 at Mt. View Care Center, Wausau, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

He was born December 13, 1915, in Wausau, son of the late Hugo and Erma (Adamscheck) Falk. On October 1, 1949 he married Catherine Schoeder in Middleton, WI.

Marshall served in the Army Air Corps during WW II in England, Italy and Africa. He also served in the Wisconsin National Guard and was called to active duty during the Berlin Crisis in 1961-1962.

He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars and held local, county, and state offices in both organizations. Marshall was the Marathon County Veterans Service Officer for 20 years until he retired in 1980.

Survivors besides his wife include a daughter, Marcia (John) Hoard, a son Marshall Jr. (Susan) and four grandchildren, Stephanie, Andrea and Matthew Falk and Maury Helding.

In honor of Marshall's wishes, there will be no services. Memorials may be made to the Veterans organizations of your choice.
