Mary Baumann

Mary Clare Baumann, 71, of Wausau passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Aspirus Hospice House.
She was born August 12, 1940 in Merrill to the late John and Lena Bell (Collins) Bartosch. On August 20, 1960, she married Rudolph Baumann at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. They lived in the town of Maine, raising their four children, Jeffrey, Therese, Kurt and Kevin. Mary Clare worked at Kmart for over 20 years and later Liberty Mutual. She loved taking care of her large vegetable garden and sharing it with family and friends. Mary Clare and Rudolph enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Florida, and Branson, MO.
Survivors include her husband Rudolph of Wausau, her children, Jeffrey (Gloria) Baumann, Therese (Mark) Graefe, Kurt Baumann all of Schofield, Kevin (Dawn) Baumann of Oak Creek, eight grandchildren, Melissa, Neil, Justin, Brandon, Jessica, Jacob, Nick, and Sydney, two brothers, Leslie (Ruth) Bartosch of Merrill, Lawrence (Kay) Bartosch of Sun Prairie and one sister, Joan (Harold) Altenberger of DeForest. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanora Hartwig.
Memorial services will be Noon, Thursday, September 22, 2011 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Father Steven Brice will officiate.
