Mary Lemke, 65, of Marathon, died Wednesday April 29, 2009 at the Kreis Klinik, Prien Am Chiemsee, Germany.
Mary was born August 10, 1943 in Green Lake, Wi., to the late Earl and Helen (Peterson) Redlin. She married Donald Lemke on November 5, 1966 in Wausau. Mary was Secretary/ Treasurer for Lemke Industrial Machine for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed playing piano, fishing with her grandchildren, collecting antiques, gardening, being up North, and had a fond love of dogs.
Survivors include her husband Donald of Marathon, two sons; David (Jennifer) Lemke of Marathon and Brad (Kris) Lemke of Wausau, three grandchildren Tyler, Justin, and Olivia, two sisters; Phyllis (John) Te Strake of Grafton and Beverly Helton of Calif., and one brother Bob (Jeanne) Redlin of Ariz.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Officiating will be the Reverend Ken Albers. Burial will be in Minocqua Memorial Cemetery, Minocqua. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Helke Funeral home and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
