Mary was born September 16th 1925, the daughter of the late John and Alexia (Drake) Spatz. On July 5th 1946, she was united in marriage to Donald L. Nienow, who preceded her in death in 1967.
Mary D. Nienow, 86, died February 2nd 2012, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice, at Marywood Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith (Robert) Westphal, Mosinee; brother, Bernard Spatz; and 2 sisters, Delores Seeley and Genevive Krueger.
Along with her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Ella Marie; 5 brothers, John, Joe, Arnold, Sylvester, and Robert; and 2 sisters, Isabell and Evelyn.
Private burial will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
