Mary Rusch

Mary Ann Rusch, 69, of Wausau passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Ministry St. Clares Hospital, Weston.
She was born June 25, 1942 in Marshfield to the late Eugene and Anna (Ertl) Weber. After graduating from high school, Mary Ann worked at several different factories which included Weinbrenner Shoe Factory and then Fiskars.
At a dance at Memories Ballroom, Mary Ann first met Glenn Rusch. It was love at first sight, and they were married at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wausau on February 14, 2004. Together they continued dancing Polkas and Waltzes whenever they could. Mary Ann and Glenn enjoyed traveling all over the United States, Canada, and Germany. They especially looked forward to spending the winter months in Arizona. Mary Ann loved her family and treasured moments spent with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn of Wausau, two daughters, Maria (Dr. Owen) Keenan of Marshfield, Jane (Ken) Rux of Mosinee, one son, Mark (Tammy) Nelles of Marshfield, two step daughters, Christi Rusch of Manhatten, NY and Tricia (Ben) Wymore of Spring Valley, NY, eleven grandchildren, Sam, Sara, Allison, Jessica, Miranda, Madison, Mariah, Tyler, Tanner, Michael, and Balia, one sister, Kathy (Lyle) Steffen of Richfield, and four brothers, Tom (Diane) Weber of Manitowoc, Mark (Rose Marie) Weber of Marshfield, Dennis Weber of Wisconsin Rapids, and Jerry (Ruthie) Weber of Marshfield.
The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 21, 2011 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Father William Grevatch will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau and at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
