Melva was born
May 2, 1914
in
Wausau
to the late Fred and Flora (Komes) Kroll.
She married Kermit Pregont on
September 3, 1955
. Kermit preceded her in death on
July 30, 2008
. Melva worked as a supervisor for Employers Mutual Insurance for over 30 years. Melva was a member of the Quarter Century Club, and an Auxiliary member of the Shriners Hospital.
Survivors include one brother Darrell (Berdine) Kroll of Oshkosh, two sisters-in-law; Leora Mitchell of
Wausau
and Lotus Kendall of Fla., and many nieces and nephews.
Melva was preceded in death by one brother Byron Kroll and one sister Bernice Lemke.
Memorial services will be at
Noon
on
Thursday September 17, 2009
at The Pilgrim Lutheran Church,
Wausau
. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from
11 a.m.
until the time of services at the church.
