Mildred Luedtke

Mildred Caroline Luedtke, 96, of Wausau, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.  She was born in the town of Cassel and lived in Wausau for most of her life.  Mildred married George M. Luedtke on April 21, 1944 in Grenada, Mississippi.

Survivors include her children, Jackie (Chet) of Cherry Valley, IL, Jerry (Pam) of Middleton, Kris (Mike) of Wausau, Jane of Eau Claire, Steve (Lori) of Wausau, and Jenny of Wausau; grandchildren, Tim (Loretta), Holly, Kori, Tessa (Dustin), Noah (Mandee), Alex (Katie), Jessica (Tony), Rachel (Jon), Steve Jr., Elizabeth (Tim), Patrick, Laura, Jake (Melissa), and Lucas; great-grandchildren, Troy, Hailey, Alyssa, Mirabella, Miles, Anders, Nora, Emily, Benjamin, Alivia, Violet, Finnoulay, Avery, Wyatt, Marcus, Riley, and Hailey; and brother, Joseph (Mona) of California.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, George; parents, Joseph and Crescentia; eight sisters; five brothers; and son-in-law, Jay Trantow.

A funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St., Wausau.  Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will take place in Restlawn Memorial Park, town of Texas.
