Milton was a man who will always be remembered for his wonderful smile and dedication to all that he set forth to accomplish in life.
He was born March 10, 1920, the son of the late William R. and Alma E. (Rick) Block. A life-long resident of the town of Easton, he married his high school sweetheart, Florence Ott, on May 15, 1943, at St. John Lutheran Church. Together they settled in their home and raised their 5 children. Milton worked hard as a dairy farmer, and a fox and mink rancher; still finding the time to be outdoors, fishing and hunting. After his retirement in 1985, he spent his time woodworking, bird feeding, playing cards; and most importantly, visiting with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A devoted member of St. John Lutheran Church, he was actively involved in serving as an elder and on various committees. He enjoyed Men's club for many years, and recently the Senior's Club.
Milton Leander Block, 90, of the town of Easton, died June 8, 2010, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
