Naomi Martin

Naomi Roberts Lowe Martin, 92, of Wausau, died at home Thursday, July 24, 2008, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born June 1, 1916, in Wapanucka, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Jessie Eli and Elizabeth (Dumphrey) Roberts.
She is survived by her loving daughter Bethalou (Lowe) Barker, son-in-law Ralph Barker, and beloved grandson Brett Barker, all of Wausau. She was preceded in death by ex-husband William A. Lowe and husband George W. Martin and brothers Guy, A.J., J.W. (“Dub”), and J.E. (“Nuda”) Roberts. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Gertrude and Mary Roberts, niece Darlene Reed, nephews Raymond and Jack Roberts, and friends in Ohio and Oklahoma.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services, especially Carla.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and later buried in Oklahoma. There will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Naomi Roberts Martin Scholarship at the University of Wisconsin – Marathon County. You may sign our family guest book at helke.com
