Nina Redinger

Nina Dean Redinger, 75, Wausau, died Monday, March 28, 2011 at her son's home in Merrill under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

Nina was born April 3, 1935 in Caledonia, MS to the late Ted and Aline (Andrews) Beauchamp. She married J. Lee Redinger on August 13, 1954 in Plainfield, MI. The couple celebrated 37 wonderful years together prior to Lee's death on September 10, 1991.

Nina was a very kind and nurturing mother who dearly loved her children and later grandchildren and great-grandson. Throughout her life, Nina loved to learn. She took courses over the years to broaden her education and became very adept at using computers and staying in touch with her grandchildren via e-mail. Nina was an avid user of Facebook and had friends worldwide.

Nina is survived by her children, Cheryl Redinger of Crystal, MN and Scott (Lynn) Redinger of Merrill and; son-in-law, Joe Nelson of Shorewood, MN; grandchildren, Rebecca Nelson, Tina Redinger, Ashley Redinger and Jessica Nelson; great-grandson, Tanner; and many more extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Nelson; sister, Bettye Beauchamp and brother, Jerry Beauchamp.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Reverend Tim Vanden Langenberg will be officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Friday at the funeral home and last until the time of service. Burial will follow the funeral at Restlawn Memorial Park.
