Norm Friedrich Jr., 55, of Wausau passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born November 14, 1957 in Oshkosh to Mary (Hunt) Friedrich of Clintonville and the late Norman Friedrich Sr. After graduating from high school, Norm earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration. From 1977 until 1981, Norm served in the U.S. Marine Corp. On May 8, 1993 Norm married Lisa at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. They operated Norm & Lisa's Refinishing in Wausau. Norm was a skilled craftsman and took great pride in his workmanship of furniture repair and finishing. He was a man who overcame many obstacles while always being a "rock" for his family and friends. Norm will be sadly missed by those who loved him including his two Siberian Huskies, Precious and Cinnamon.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa of Wausau, two daughters, Danielle and Teressa of Wausau, his mother, Mary Friedrich, three sisters, Barbara (Jim) Ebert of Clintonville, Susan Friedrich of Clintonville, Heather Friedrich of Shawano, two brothers, Steve (Sharon) Friedrich of Clintonville, Jeff (Sherry) Friedrich of Shawano and his many true friends.
Private memorial services were held at First English Lutheran Church, Wausau. Reverend Erik Olson officiated. Interment was in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. You may sign our family guest book at helke.com.
