Norma Rasmussen was a gentle, kind, giving woman whose greatest joy in life was the times spent with her family. She was an excellent cook and like her mother, was always making special treats for all her family and friends. Her real passion was floral designing. She created amazing gifts that were always loved and cherished by all who received them.
Norma was born April 15, 1929 in Wausau to the late Norman and Esther (Jonas) Kieckhoefer. She was a graduate of Wausau Senior High School. On November 29, 1947, she married Donald R. Rasmussen in Wausau. They made their home at 1115 Cedar St., raising their children, Dick, Deb, and David. In their earlier years, Norma was a member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and Don with the Masonic Lodge No. 130. They were also former members of Grace United Church of Christ, Wausau. Norma was once a member of the Red Hat Society and got great joy out of time spent with the "Birthday Club", at Ridgeview Highlands in Appleton.
At the age of 81, Norma passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011 in Appleton after a short illness.
