Orval was born
July 2, 1912
in the town of
Wausau
, to the late Erich and Anna (Hafeman) Schubring. He married Irene Schuetz on
June 24, 1939
in
Wausau
. Irene preceded him in death on
June 17, 1993
. Orval was a dairy farmer in the town of
Wausau
. After retiring from the farm, Orval did carpentry and worked for Wausau Homes. He enjoyed working in the woods, fishing and working in his garden.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Orval was preceded in death by one brother Herbert Schubring and one sister Verna Schuetz.
Funeral services will be
11 a.m.
Tuesday August 19, 2008
at St. Paul United Church of Christ. The Reverend Vernon Dolde will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from
6 p.m.
until
7:30 p.m.
at the Helke Funeral Home,
Wausau
, and Tuesday from
9:30 a.m.
until the time of services at the church.
