Patsy Moate

Patsy Ruth Moate, 89, of Wausau, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017, at Wausau Manor, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Patsy was born January 20, 1928, in Rhinelander, WI. daughter of Fred Henry and Ruby Murel (Campbell) Sparbel. She was united in marriage to Samuel Moate on August 9, 1958 in Wausau. Patsy and Samuel made their home in Wausau all their married life. She worked at Wausau Laundry, Brokaw Paper, Piston Ring and for many years was a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn.
Patsy enjoyed Find A Word puzzles, watching the Game Show Network and Lawrence Welk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Samuel in 2005, two brothers, Fred Jr., and Douglas, and two sisters, Johanna and Carole.
Patsy is survived by her two sisters, Lois Kickbusch of Rib Mountain and Nancy (Robert) Klimek of Merrill and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2017, at the Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce Street, Wausau. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Wausau.
