Paulette Jane White, 67, of Wausau, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at her home in Wausau.
Paulette was born April 15, 1948, in Wausau, daughter of the late Samuel and Grace (Weinke) Woodward. She graduated from Wausau High School in 1965. She continued her education in Wausau where became a Radiologic Technologist.
She moved to Milwaukee and worked at St. Joseph Hospital. Paulette then moved to Minneapolis, MN where she met and married Frank White in 1979. She worked at St. Joseph's in Minneapolis. After the death of her husband in 1984, she returned to Wausau to be closer to family. She worked at Marshfield Clinic as a Radiologic Technologist until her retirement in 2013.
Paulette enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She took great pleasure in spoiling her five grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, traveling and staying active in Trinity Lutheran Church.
Her positive attitude and love for life was an example for her entire family.
She is survived by a son Adam (Natalie) White of Sussex, WI, a daughter, Erin (Will) Enright of De Pere, WI, five grandchildren; Sam and Ben White, Conor, Clare and Kate Enright, a brother; Keith Woodward of Wausau, and two sisters; Monica (Bernie) Piekarski of Minneapolis and Margaret Arnold of Waupaca, WI.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 501 Stewart Ave. Wausau, with Rev. Gary Schultz officiating. Visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. until time of services. Burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established to promote children's literacy.
