Phyllis J. Sann

The family would like to announce the death of Phyllis Sann, age 84, who passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024, at Rennes Health and Rehab, where she had been a resident for the last 6 years.

Phyllis was born on February 7, 1940 in Wausau, WI. She was born at home to Roy and Myrtle Sann. She attended and graduated from Wausau High School.

She enjoyed doing crafts, working in word search books, and doing embroidery. She also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers. She had lived at Riverview Tower for approximately 15 years, where she enjoyed making new friends and visiting.

She is survived by sister-in-law Eidabelle Sann, nephews and nieces Dale (Karen), Jennifer (Jeff) Anklam, Ken, Heidi (Randy) Jari, Karen Kelbley, Sue Wiesneske, and Doug (Barb) Chack and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Elsie and brother-in-law Stanley Chack, brother Elmer, many aunts and uncles, niece and husband Patricia and Art Bostwick, nephew Mike Wiesneske, and special friend Wally Roll.

Services will be held on Saturday October 19th at 12:00 PM at Helke Funeral Home in Wausau WI. with Pastor Rachel Wann officiating. A Visitation well be held on Saturday October 19th from 11:00 am until the hour of Service at Helke Funeral Home. Private burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau, Wisconsin.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rennes for their loving care over the years and to the hospice nurses for their recent care as well. 

Phyllis's favorite charities were the Lincoln County or Marathon County Humane Societies.
