Phyllis Venner, 69, of Wausau passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at The Bay at Colonial Manor, Wausau.
She was born May 29, 1951 in Wausau to Helen (Punke) Wendt of Wausau and the late Alfred Wendt. For many years, Phyllis was a dispatcher for several over the road trucking companies. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially with her boys, Nicholas and Edward. Phyllis enjoyed playing computer games like Solitaire and going to Trails End and Whiskey River for their Friday night fish frys. Christmas and watching 4th of July fireworks were her two favorite times of the year.
Survivors include two sons, Nicholas (fiancé- Julie) Venner of Wausau, Edward Venner of Wausau, grandson, Clayton Venner, mother, Helen Wendt of Wausau, two sisters, Verna (Bobby) Schalow of Wausau, Lois (Gary) Hoffman of Cross Plaines and a brother, Donnie (Inga) Wendt of Miami. Phyllis was preceded in death by her father and brother, Lyle Wendt.
